Training Analysis

Institution:
Training involves imparting knowledge and skills to workers through various methods such as lectures and role plays in various settings such as conferences and workshops. Training is critical for the optimum running of an organization. This is done either for a newly recruited employee or on a continuous basis for veteran employees. The overarching role of training is to improve employees’ performance and productivity. This in turn helps an organization realize its goals and objectives. This paper will develop a two-day training program on Environmental Awareness and Occupational Health and Safety for twenty employees from an organization that deals in sell of packaging materials.
Question 2
The trainer would conduct interviews and issue questionnaires to individual employees in order to establish whether or not they require training in these areas. The trainer would be the in-house OSH officer in conjunction with external trainers. As such, he would use the workplace environment to pitch various questions to his colleagues on how much they value safety at the workplace and whether or not they find the environment clean and safe. Thus, the main goal of this training program would be to impart knowledge on safety, health and environment in the workplace. It would also teach the employees various techniques meant to enhance occupational safety as well as the possible hazards in the working environment. Since the environmental field is dynamic, the trainer would also disseminate knowledge on emerging issues in the workplace environment.
