Executive Summary
Human resource functions encompass barriers and increase responsibilities for workers. To streamline our department with the corporate mission, vision, and goals, we developed our own statements and 8 goals in that regard. Our mission statement is to support our corporate mission, vision, values, and principles by supporting a working environment that is conducive for harnessing creativity and innovation, and promoting top-notch customer service standards. Our vision statement is to become a world class company, the standard by which others are measured, the HR department vision is to cascade the corporate mission, vision, and values to all levels, subsequently attaining excellence through our people, policies, and processes. We have contributed to the organization through recruitment and selection, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, labor relations, and health, safety, and security. Moreover, we have designed astute action plans for each area while maintaining our credibility. To quantify the costs and impacts of our programs as well as processes, we will leverage employee engagement, performance, and turnover as the main HR delivery metrics. To identify whether our processes were useful in the first place, we will use MBOs, self- assessment, and balanced scorecard as the main KPMs.
