The absence of this uniting factor impedes missions and be a probable cause of fatalities. the paper indicates from the case study that it is clear that the Battalion Leader's micromanagement of the platoon sergeant resulted in their failure to make choices on their own while the Battalion Commander was absent. This response greatly hampered the mission leadership's command and control, allowing the enemy to concentrate and reorganize.
