Why CEO Needs Executive Protection
It is essential to protect leaders and persons with high-profile professions, such as CEOs, when in travel because they have access to the organization’s secrets (Aus.com., 2022). Executive members should be protected against hostiles because their nationality may make them a target when traveling abroad. Due to potential threats and vulnerabilities of kidnapping, companies need to protect their Chief Executives Members because they have access to company secrets (Aus.com., 2022). The protection will secure the CEOs and consequently protect the company's secrets. This is because the CEO holds company secrets of paramount importance; therefore, the CEO needs to be protected to secure the valuable and sensitive information of the company (Aus.com., 2022). Also, the CEO's protection safeguards shareholders’ investments in the CEO since any accident that occurs to the CEO negatively impacts the business and investors. Additionally, with CEO’s protection, there comes trade secrets protection and reduction in stress for corporate risks with executive protection. This is because persons of high-profile professions hold valuable company secrets that can destroy the company. CEO protection ensures that such information is safe when traveling, increasing the CEO's peace of mind (Aus.com., 2022). Furthermore, the protection or security provided to CEO results in a good environment which increases productivity and efficiency. The CEO knows it is safe; hence, he is more capable of focusing on his business meetings.
