Renewable: geothermal energy is a reproducible source of power. This means that the resource has the ability to replenish itself. Therefore, as long as populaces do not put a large amount of cold water on the planet, chilling off the rocks, then the force will continue to be produced.
Pollution: this kind of power is environmental friendly since it does not generate pollutants. Being an environmentally friendly source of energy, it will not contribute to greenhouse effect thus; it will combat climate alteration (Withgott, 2014).
Less space: the power station for a geothermal power source does not require a big space for its installation. Due to that they tend to use up less space hence impacts on the surrounding environment are also less.
A more dependable source of renewable power: contrasted to other renewable energies, geothermal also has some advantages. It is a relatively steady source of power, meaning that it does not need other sources of power like sun and wind, but it is available yearly.
Site: the biggest drawback when it comes to geothermal is that geothermal power cannot just be set up in any location. Primarily one needs a place that is rich in the kind of rocks used in the generation of the energy.
