Industrialization refers to the great changes in a form of rapid development of industrial revolution that took place during the 1700’s and 1800’s. First and foremost, the industrialization has made England known as a major state in the world due to its ability to accommodate its citizens. It is true because mass production of machines has displaced employees while others have been working with machinery tools (Sayre, 2014). For example, in the agricultural sector machines are used in farming. Specifically, tractors are used to plough and water huge farms. The idea here is that the service delivery has become easier due to the incorporation of machines in the 21st century. During the 17th century workers worked for as long as twelve hours, but the current working conditions are more favorable. This aspect is seen in cases where the longest time frame one can work is eight hours a day. Furthermore, machines have been modified to have better working protective gears as compared to the working conditions of the 17th and 18th centuries respectively. The presence of better tools, harvesting techniques and fertilizers has made farming easier (Sayre, 2014). Moreover, industrialization has led to introduction of rules that guide and protect employees from unworthy working conditions in factories. Thus, it is a good perspective because employees can comfortably work knowing their rights. Another change that has taken place is introduction of trade unions. The trade unions are established to attend to employees’ needs in terms of providing better working conditions and better payment for their work. Industrialization has made the lives of employees in England better (Sayre, 2014). Industrialization led to rules and regulations that evade factories from hiring children as opposed to what was happening in the 17th century. Essentially, industrialization has improved the lives of employees significantly and has helped England prosper in the fields of science, agriculture and manufacturing. My opinion is based on Sayre’s writings, where he states that working in England is one of the best experiences one can go through. Evidently, the most obvious advantage that has been brought by industrialization in England is the fact that workers are paid better for working less hours. As a result, employees deliver positive results in the market (Sayre, 2014). Thus, it is true to say that industrialization has created better working conditions for employees based on the arguments mentioned above. How has industrialization remained fundamentally the same for workers? Despite the changes caused by industrialization in England, the agriculture sector has remained the principal provider of employment in the provinces due to the support of relative industries. Farming practice is something that has not changed. The rationale behind is that people of England have to eat in order to lead a healthy way of life the same way other states do. Furthermore, the introduction of machines in England has not stopped manual labor. For instance, machines that are utilized in England cannot do all the work, and hence, employees are needed to control the machines (Sayre, 2014). Unmistakably, farming has remained the same for workers because they still have to go to the fields with machines for the work to be done effectively. Another aspect that has not changed in England is employees’ accountability to their employers in terms of getting hired and paid for their services. Furthermore, factories still connect people with different backgrounds in the same way they did in the 17th century. Employees in Britain can still be found doing their routine rounds and simple manual labor.
