Khamis (2019) investigated PTSD and emotional dysregulation prevalence among children and adolescents in Lebanon and Jordan Syrian refugee camps. The study's findings revealed that 45.6% of the refugees had a prevalence of emotion dysregulation. The refugees who have experienced extreme war had a higher prevalence of emotional dysregulation. Their coping mechanisms for PTSD differed depending on the family ties of the children and adolescents, their educational settings, and the length of the period spent in posttraumatic war-torn environments.
