Abstract
The experiment is based on Andrade (2010), who sought to determine the effect of doodling. The test had 90 participants who were students of the psychology class. The participants were subdivided into two groups, labeled A and B, 56 and 34 members, respectively. The participants were taken through a four-course experiment where their performance on their tasks was provided. The primary task was name recall, and the incidental task was place recall. The experiment results were compiled in two formats, descriptive and inferential statistics, where the conclusion could not be based on one model. The study showed that doodling does not affect the performance of the primary task, which was the name recall. However, on the indistinctive task, the performance was reduced, showing significant effects.
