From the documentary out of mind, the population affected is residents of Brocknile mental health center, a forensic psychiatric hospital for people who have committed violent crimes. The film concentrates on two main floors in the facility devoted to psychiatry forensics. The film analyzes four primary residents associated with violent crimes (Bassuk & Buckner, 1992). The two men and women for the forensic psychiatric study have been involved in violent crimes. They are fighting the stigma surrounding them as people with mental health conditions regain control of their lives. Both men and women are admitted to the mental health center to understand and manage their conditions. Most of the women and men in the facility are struggling to gain control of their lives to get back to the society they came from, or they committed the crimes.
