CLEAR: The Whole Person Care Approach
In order to be healthy, one must be satisfactory in the several aspects. These aspects are namely the Physical, Social and Mental aspects. But in the Seventh Day Adventist health care system, we believe that a person must not be limited in the physical health, social health and mental health. But one must also be spiritually healthy. We believe, as Seventh day Adventists, that a person must be treated physically, socially and mentally but we must also heal the person’s soul. Only through that we could really say that the person is fully healthy.
