Abstract:
Diversity has become more familiar in companies; companies must appreciate and govern it. The workforce is a combination of people from different backgrounds, beliefs, tribes, lifestyles, and many other things that differentiate human beings. The combination brings up a divergent workforce. Rather than having the combined workers behave in a certain or come with a standard behavior for teamwork to be achieved, it is important to have a diverse labor force for better production. There are ways of supervising and controlling the diverse human resources towards achieving a positive, diverse workforce
Introduction:
Diversity Training entails programs or classes developed to enable good coexistence between colleagues or related departments, hence minimizing preconception, discrimination, partisanship, inequality, racism, and many other negatives (Mendoza et al.,.2015). The training usually teaches workers to relate with others and respect and appreciate their diversity while working together to achieve core business. The training is to update the workers about the industry diversity, such as in employment, appraisals protocols, and how to overcome biasness. According to research, 'when colleagues have peace of mind at work and out of entangles, they are likely to perform better.' The opposite of that also has a negative impact on work productivity.
