What Benefits should a Job Offer You in Order for You to Move City or Town?
Name
Institution affiliation
Job offers come with packages that offer various benefits to the employee. Employers can relocate their employees from a branch to the other in different towns on the need basis. In most cases, the workers are reluctant to relocate due to the uncertainties and non-work related life factors. However, a little adventure in the new environment can be a life changing experience. The employer is obliged to help the worker make an informed decision on relocation. There are various benefits that a job offer should present to employees to entice them to relocate to a new town.
First, the job should offer the employee and his or her family a less stressful relocation and accommodation. Finding a place to live in the major cities can be hectic and expensive. The employer should provide return tickets regularly accompanied with off days to the employee to meet the family and friends. In that way, the employee feels within the same social circle. The new environment should be compatible to the lifestyle expectation of the worker. Therefore, social life is an important aspect that the employee should consider before relocating.
Lastly, personal growth and career development are important aspects to consider before relocating. Workers should consider the possibility and ease of career growth in the new environment (Jin, Mjelde, & Litzenberg, 2014). The employees are likely to be persuaded by a relocation that comes with a promotion. Moreover, workers are likely to garner more experience in cities than in smaller towns due...
