Google's Code of Ethics Social Sciences Essay (Essay Sample)

This was a critique for google's code of ethics

Google’s Code of Ethics
Google has published its Code of Ethics publicly and is available on the internet. The code of ethics defines how all stakeholders are expected to behave. This implies that the document bounds all employees, partners, and the board of governors. The document is underlined by the phrase "don't be evil," which guides Googlers on serving customers. Not being evil also implies providing information on the platform in an unbiased manner. The code of ethics aims at ensuring the entire stakeholders do what is right by following the law and treating everyone with respect (O'Leary, 2019). The code of ethics prioritizes providing an excellent operating environment that adheres to regulations of the government.
