It is absolutely erroneous to assume that sex offenders perform that particular act because of hormonal needs. A man in the street will not in any way rape a woman or molest a kid. Though it is conduct that violates the ethics of the society to which that individual belongs, and we also know that psychological level of all behavior is over-determined i.e. which has very complex poly causality, derived from different contexts or multiple relationships, however, we can say a sexual offence they conduct is especially motivated by the many frustrations to their internal and external needs that had to support the individual, such as real lack of affection. The offender projects through the crime their psychological conflicts as this behavior always involves conflict or ambivalence. Sexual offence has a purpose to the sex offender in the sense that it protects the body from disorganization by regulating the voltage and thus, undoubtedly resolves the tension produced. The behavior is always as a defense and response to the stimulus set by the total situation. Moreover, we can also argue out that they perform these acts due to certain sorts of biological factorsï€, for instance hormones.
