One effect of overpopulation in a country is ecological degradation. Increasing pressure on natural resources has resulted in a series of catastrophic consequences due to overpopulation. The most severe impacts of overpopulation are deforestation, climate change, decline in biocapacity, urban sprawl, food security, increase in energy demand, and effect on marine ecosystems.

Many countries in the world are affected by overpopulation. Overpopulation negatively affects these countries. In this essay, I will discuss the negative effects of overpopulation, including environmental degradation, global warming, and habitat loss.
One effect of overpopulation in a country is environmental degradation. “Overpopulation has resulted in a series of catastrophic consequences by causing increased pressure on existing natural resources.
