In modern society, we have experienced tremendous change brought by technology. Notably, the sophistication of cultural technologies might differ in locality and living standards in that locality. Examples of cultural technologies include Zoom, washing machines, televisions, mobile phones, and nuclear plants. Zoom is a communication channel that enables uses to share screens in real-time. It is easier to use, and it has robust services making it the most preferred channel in communication, especially for distant users. Significantly, it connects students with educators across the globe. Technological cultures have the intellectual capacity to develop new items every day. Technology has shaped the culture in learning and in children's upbringing, which is very common in this pervasive era. Cultural technology is an entity that has not helped solve complex problems but has also permeated human life (Berland, 2000). Zoom is cultural technology that has transformed the working environment in a significant way. For example, it is a technology that has transformed the culture of happiness in the workplace.
Additionally, it has helped solve communication problems in offices, such as delay and information distortion. Therefore, it has permeated human life in modern society; it has also helped societal problems. According to Roger Simon (2010), cultural technologies have been the mediation between problems and modern life success. In this case, cultural technology acts as a link between people and success. It would be absurd to assume the world would have been better without technology, especially with the alarming population increment. Technology has been thematized in arts as a reflection of cultural reflection. For example, if we focus on great films such as James Bond, we see a reflection of utopia in the technological equipment used to cast the film. Technology has opened the doors of classrooms to the world, which has enhanced performance and creativity amongst learners. Cultural techniques such as zoom have elevated creativity and ease of learning across the globe (Beck & Eno, 2012). Zoom provides an interactive environment where all learners can express the views without borders. It has been an incredible technology for the workers and other professionals to connect with other people worldwide. It is an interlink between culture and works in modern society (Simon, 1992).
