The consensus view has been used in the society in law-making and also in criminology. This paper discusses a consensus view in detail across social science perspectives. The conclusion outlines my thoughts regarding the Consensus view.
The consensus view from definition implies mutual agreements amongst citizens regarding what should be implemented or what should not be implemented (Baccarini, 2014). Critically thinking on the subject matter, Consensus View is meant to customize laws and figures out what should not be illegal. To arrive at a consensus, all stakeholders need to come together regardless of gender, race, age, and social class in the determination of what should be illegal.
