1 Reflection on the posted reading from the class textbook "Spiritual Health and Healing."
Spiritual healing is a living philosophy that is ingrained in our daily lives. Spiritual healing teaches people how to use their bodies and experiences to link to the cosmos and divinity. These connecting agents have the same purpose and are not better or inferior to one other. Spiritual Health and Healing lessons come from a variety of traditions and are intended to provide harmony to the human race and peace to everyone and everywhere.
2.Reflection on five yoga poses that are meaningful for you in each physical practice.
Warrior II improves the legs and arms while also opening the chest and shoulders and contracting the abdominal organs. Breathing should be controlled, and the concentration must be on the extension of the components, which will aid in the development of patience.
The Triangle is also one of those postures that provides numerous benefits to your body. It increases spine flexibility, assists with shoulder alignment, and improves back pain and stiffness in the neck area.
The yoga stance of the Four-Limbed Staff strengthens your arms, wrists, and abdomen. It's also an excellent warm-up stance for more difficult arm-balancing poses.
The Chair yoga pose improves the hip reflexes, ankles, calves, and back while toning your leg muscles. It extends the shoulders and chest.
Tree yoga pose appears to be a simple one, and it is not a relaxing asana. Must align the back, the hips have to be at one level, and the stability depends on how the weight is distributed on the standing leg.
3. Reflection on overall effects from each yoga-as-medicine practice, physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
