Media propaganda is also prevalent in media as a kind of persuasion where information which is not entirely true is spread in order to further some sort of business, political or personal agenda through shaping public opinion. Classroom instruction focused on media literacy is meant to help students to take the facts and throw the fiction. My audience in this case is undergraduate students in a lecture class focused on women’s feminist study. Students should share their insights in groups with recordings on how women are generally represented. Further I would solicit reflections on thinking in regard to media images in relation to women and more particularly black women. I would emphasize that learners should consider media images from a perspective of racial and gendered point of view. A few points of discussions would be important towards reinforcing understanding. The learners should discuss why it is difficult for people of different race to take the view of people from different identity markers such as gender, race and socioeconomic status.
