Game is mainly an entertainment activity, time that is spent in distracting from serious life occupations, and dedicated to do something non-productive and just fun. In turn, the game has been a form of education for social relations in a community according to its cultural values. Today, with the introduction of video games in education, many possibilities become available, although problems and doubts also arise about their real potentialities in teaching-learning processes.
Utility of Video Games in School and Business Educational Processes
It is important to design an appropriate plan for selection and use of video games in educational processes, which constitute a valuable tool for education and training, both school and business. Education with video games goes beyond the campus that is also useful for companies that need to train their clients or employees. In this way, the possibility of transmitting knowledge is not restricted to the school environment, but also to organizations where video games can be a good instrument to disseminate knowledge. Parong et al. (2017) mention that video games have great potential to revolutionize education, and even that children can learn more useful and positive things from a video game than they learn in school.
