A lot of information has emerged on the merits of green and blue environment in towns and cities. A lot of people prefer purchasing houses in relatively green areas, and places where water is plenty, although the price tends to be higher than in other areas. This propels city planners to be motivated to increase the amount of vegetation in cities (Liu, 2018). The aim of these enhancements is minimizing heat stress, improving the attraction of the towns and quality of life. We are going to demonstrate the value of a well-developed city with easy access to nature, the approaches laid down in accessing nature, the benefits and disadvantages of having green and the blue environments in cities.
Urban areas that highly embrace green and blue spaces are of much value to people and statistically six out of ten people in 2030 will be living in urban areas (Liu, 2018). The aftermath of such rapid growth in the cities include crowding, increased waste and water management issues, and pollution (Park et al, 2016). These challenges may pose several adverse effects. When it becomes easy to access basic things like energy, water and transportation need a city tends to get a lot of demand and value from people in rural areas. The more the town is greener and has water facilities available, city dwellers are guaranteed (Park et al, 2016) a good life. However, some investment is necessary to avoid any challenge that may be experienced after urbanization.
