Parenting is the perpetual process of bringing up a child. It requires constant monitoring and rectification to instill the desired types of characteristics as per the parents' desires. Parenting gives a competitive edge to different parents as every mother or father defines parenting in their perspective. Unethical behavior in children like stealing, lying and fighting has been a problem with not solution to many parents, making children grow up to become irresponsible adults. Since most parents dwell close to each other, they can easily exchange ideas on how they can promote the positive upbringing of their young ones. The exchange of ideas provides better perspicacity and the ability to gain better parenting habits which can be used extensively for the future young ones which are yet to come. My aim in this paper is to provide better parenting proposals, convey a plan of action, show the desired our comes and the resources needed to promote better parenting.
Parenting habits range from positive and negative. Most parents who teach their children negative behavior and habits were raised in poor disciplinary settings. Good parenting habits make young ones grow up to become mature, upright and responsible adults which in the long run makes them have a good relationship with society. Good parenting habits range from teaching your kids to appreciate, a 'thank you' never hurts and giving them the knowledge that they should be God-fearing.
