The values that a person practices originate from a foundation that is built by family, friends, guardian or acquaintances. The influence that these people have on others is indispensable because they are integrals in the behavioral formation. A person that practices thievery mostly has friends with the similar traits. A generous person influences their peers to also give. Parents or guardians play an instrumental role in shaping these behaviors. A parent that teaches their child on self-control helps them to avoid succumbing to social vices such as crime. A disciplined person practices admirable behaviors that they were taught by their parents as they grew up. In these illustrations, the society takes the generic description of being the ground that builds every human being. Societal segmentation is the foundation of these different behaviors that people exude. For instance, a person that lives in an infamous region known for criminal gangs can easily become a member because of the compulsive influence that their peers have on them. The society is a monumental influence in a person’s decisions.
