International Relations Game Theory
International Relations involves critical scrutiny of how various states interact as well as the impact of such interactions. The interaction between various global actors forms the basis of International Relations. States are perceived to be dependent on each other hence exhibiting a crude form of symbiotic relationship. States need each other for financial aid, military aid and to transact businesses. The interdependence phenomenon is also witnessed between sub-state actors like intrastate factions. The interaction between different factions may lead to disputes due to conflicting interests. Whenever conflicts erupt, a third party may be invited to defuse the dispute between the warring factions. External actors are mostly consulted to restore sanity between the parties in dispute.
The intervention of the external actors occasionally leads to the formation of a coalition which accommodates both parties. The coalition requires a high application of logic for it to be successful and minimize the cost of the procedure which is usually incurred by the warring factions.
