Antigone Performance
From the performance of Antigone at the British National Theatre in London, I would set the performance in the contemporary United States of America to support the themes of the play. The primary theme in Antigone is gender inequality is one of the major aspects that still exists in the current US setting, including Sophocles conceptions on gender roles in the play Antigone.
