Conditions affecting the neurological system can range from being quite harmless to potentially fatal. One such ailment, sickness of the neurological system, will be the focus of this paper.
History:
Researchers have been interested in the brain and nervous system for centuries, if not longer. Hippocrates, the "father of modern medicine," explained the function of the brain and nerves in keeping humans healthy, as well as the symptoms of diseases affecting these organs, in ancient Greece. The structural and functional properties of the nervous system, as well as the disorders that can impact it, were better understood because to the advancements in anatomy, physiology, and neuroscience in the 19th century. New treatments and better patient outcomes have resulted from ongoing research into disorders of the nervous system in recent years.
