Introduction
The increasing significance of corporate social responsibility (CSR) indicates institutions must visualize stakeholders' interests and the social effects of their actions. On the other hand, multinational organizations' pursuit of profit has brought about questionable communication rhetoric in the companies (Perna, Orosz, and Kent 116). The issue calls for the use of critical discourse analysis (CDA) to examine how Nestle and British Petroleum uses persuasive language to promote corporate identities (Fuoli and Hart 517). Similarly, Nestle is an international company dealing with food, nutrition, beverage, and water. The company stated its determination to increase activities in the CSR areas, such as communications cultures and shared values (Galli and Vousvouras 1098). Critical Discourse analysis is vital in examining how companies use communication rhetoric to maintain their corporate identities.
