PNC Bank provides various services, including traditional banking, corporate as well as institutional banking, home lending, and asset management. The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. has its business structure built around PNC Bank, which provides most of the financial services. PNC Bank provides wealth management, loan services, estate planning, and the processing of information. The US market and the world at large has been experiencing significant changes in terms of financial services where technology has revolutionized everything (Crosman para 3). To counter the changes, PNC introduced the Banking Industry Architecture Network (BIAN) in 2015 that enabled the company to become cloud-ready.

The company faces competition from JPMorgan Chase & Co, Bank of America Corporation, Wells Fargo & Company, and Citi Group among others (Crosman para 5). PNC Financial group has been performing well in comparison to its industrial competitors in terms of revenue growth.
