A SWOT analysis examines the internal strengths and weaknesses, and the outside opportunities and threats in an organization’s domain. The SWOT internal analysis is used to determine the resources, potential, core abilities and competitive advantage within an organization. The external analysis identifies market opportunities and threats by examining competitor’s resources, the industry surrounding and the general environment.
The Coca-Cola Company was formed Atlanta, Georgia in the year 1886 Atlanta; it is a world leader in the production of non-alcoholic beverages. It has a worldwide presence whereby it operates in 200 countries, selling more than 500 different brands of soft drinks.
Strengths
These are the qualities that enable an organization to attain its goals. Coca-Cola enjoys huge perks especially from its large economies of scale. It is established in 200 countries with approximately fifty-two billion Coca-Cola products being purchased daily hence generating more than 1 billion dollars of revenue.
