The Coca-Cola Company has been very instrumental in commercial advertising. The fact that the company is a multinational has made it embark on critical advertising to command a significant market share of its products. Despite narrowing down to one product, the company has various other products in its sparkling and still beverages. The products include Fanta, Sprite, Minute Maid and Dasani Water among others. This company is one of the best-recognized firms in the world, providing a range of products for its customers. It competes in the soft drink industry with the few companies that have managed to offers close to similar products. It has gained a remarkable growth in the industry making it bone one most preferred drink in its category.
The fact that Coca Cola is operating from a global perspective has made its competitors a run for their money. Notably, the product that the company has been advertising is majorly its leading product; Coke. Coke has been competing in the non-alcoholic soft drinks category for a while, retaining the market share all long. Despite having a fair market share, the brand has been on the receiving end due to intense competition posed by other products. Pepsi, being the main rival to Coca-Cola, has products like the Mtn Dew and Dole that have been competing with the Coke. Nevertheless, the Coca-Cola Company products have retained a reputable market share. The fact that it is the main brand name for the company makes it remain at the forefront in the market. Coke boasts of having a consistency taste and flavor. It is the blueprint of the company and many customers want to be identified with it. The product has no direct or indirect substitute from the competition. Therefore, it is unlikely to find a product that tastes the same as Coca Cola.
