Cape Town is the legislative capital of South Africa and the second most populated city in the country. It is the parliamentary center, which makes it significant to the historical heritage of the nation. Important events, including the assassination of apartheid promoter and South African Prime minister Dr. Hendrik Verwoerd in 1966 occurred in the Houses of Parliament (Lourie). The city is renowned for its beautiful sceneries. In 2014, the New York Times named Cape Town one of the best cities to visit in the world (Desantis et al.). Some major tourist sites include the Table Mountain, Clifton Beaches, Boulders Beach, and the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens (Cape Town Travel). Cape Town’s official websites display these significant features to encourage tourism to increase economic activities in the city. The travel guide platform contains information on major attraction sites, hotels, and restaurants to facilitate tourism. It also provides the latest updates concerning the issues facing the city, its businesses, and local projects. Thus, Cape Town utilizes its travel website to promote itself, which in turn boosts its economic development
