Movies can be used as an a political communication forum, source of entertainment and also form of expression of an opinion on gender in the society and establishing correct values Hollywood and Disney movies in regard to cultural ideology, Hollywood movies strongly express cultural imperialism as well as opinion on gender. The films with the highest ranking in Hollywood and Disney, were first directed by men. Most of the film's main audiences are also men. From the content point of view, it is difficult to say that the film reflects In view of the real history and life of the United States, from a moral and social point of view, movies have an impact on perception on gender. Thus when society watch movies acted by women on and off the camera, and children’s attention to movies has great influence on violence, gender and sexuality. The thesis of the discussion paper is explain the Hollywood /Disney movies on perception of gender in the society
I chose the topic because Statistics published by the American Film Institute show that the global film industry created a value of 36.4 billion U.S. dollars in 2014, and films produced by Hollywood, the dominant American film producer, account for a huge share of this coveted "big cake." In fact, 70% of its profits come from overseas markets. Obviously, Hollywood's influence is not limited to the United States, but spread to the world. The purpose of the topic is to show how movies affect the gender in the society. The case focuses on Disney and Hollywood, The film impacts the audience's viewing experience in a vivid deductive form by shaping the image of the characters, and produces an invisible force that subtly influences the shaping of the audience's values and behavior patterns (Qingli and Shi 112).
