The United States America debt, as well as deficit, is becoming a major concern within the societies. Raising tax on the rich is one of the vital things that should be proposed for the government to undertake. Poor people are often willing and ready to trade their time to enable them to earn money. However, rich people always trade their money to ensure that they get for time for other engagements. For example, wealthy individuals will hire poor people to carry for them activities such as cleaning homes, shopping, and washing of cars. Tax is defined as a levy or financial charges that are imposed upon a taxpayer of which failure to abide by leads to punishment by the law.
Taxing the rich more is logic economically. When the US government decides to tax wealthy individuals to assist in paying for the program such as infrastructural development or national defense, the poor as well as the middle class are significantly improved (Ang 46).
