Personification is the most prominent literary device in the essay. Setting is another device used where the story is placed in Allendale town in California. This allows the reader to relate the events taking place in the story with those taking place in real world in the town. This article will be useful in the study because it explains the devices in details for the reader to understand. Secondly, because a teacher guiding his students wrote it, it is likely to provide more insight and promote understanding of the content. In my final essay, I will use setting and personification devices pinpointed in the article to enrich my work. I will also explain the devices deeply while offering examples like the way the author of the article does.
