Evil is Alive and Well
Music is termed as the mirror of the society and musicians reflect the events that happen to people on the music realized. The song Evil is Alive and Well by Jacob Dylan is a reflection of the events that take place in the society that gives the artist the impression that evil is alive and well. It is hard to see or touch evil but the author of the song has given the song the title of a living thing that may be touched or can be seen. The paper focuses on the personification and zoomorphism in the song Evil is Alive and Well.
The author of the song can capture the attention of his listener not only by the song itself but by the title of his work. Only two things are expected to be alive and well on the earth's surface, which include animals (man and the animals) and the plants. But in this case, Dylan can give the characters of a living thing to the evil by saying evil is alive and well. The title of the song is both personification and zoomorphism
