Introduction
The most primitive part of a human nervous system is that we always try to find pleasure and avoid pain. The trick that most of us do not understand is that we cannot receive pleasure unless we realize that we are engaging in it. This is one reason why my eating habit motto is to always find pleasure in eating. I like to pay attention to the details of what I intend to put in my stomach. I take my time in planning and thinking it through to ensure I do not miss any important detail. In addition, paying attention ensures that I do not rush through the eating as the brain might interpret the missed experience of pleasure in eating as hunger. If it does so, I would need to eat more food and overeating to me is a very dangerous vice.
I am not an ideal factory food consumer. I prefer to understand the quality of the food I take, know where it comes from, how it is produced and delivered, the ingredients, residues and additives contained. This means that I like to do my own food shopping in the supermarkets or the grocery. This is one way to ensure that I examine the food and ensure that it is clean, pure, free of chemicals and fresh.
