The possible effects of sacrificial love on a person`s worldview and the entire life according to fiction literature
In this day and age, love plays an inconceivably significant role for individuals to feel good and
get by in our unpleasant conditions. As indicated by Aristotle, a fine and agreeable life comprises
ownership for the duration of the life of things that individuals truly need and that are true bravo.
All in all, what are these things? In Aristotle's precept, these are things brought about by normal
human requirements, that is the reason what is vital for one individual is likewise essential for
another. Merchandise for looking for is the equivalent. They are isolated into three classes:
• substantial merchandise wellbeing, joy, imperativeness
• outside products food, drink, dress, cover, rest
• merchandise of the spirit information, companions, love, confidence, honor.
Along these lines, this exploration is significant in light of the fact that adoration isn't just one of
the most powerful yet in addition to essential necessities, it turns out it truly is needed for the
certified existence of nearly everybody.
Moreover, Aristotle had divided eight types of love, which are:
-       familiar love (storge);
-       friendship love (philia);
-       self-love (philautia);
-       playful love (ludus);
-       longstanding love (pragma);
-       erotic live (eros);
-       obsessive love (mania);
-       selfless love (agape).
The last one is the most important for this research, it is actually the main subject of it.
In order to calculate the results of sacrificial love on humans` lives firstly, it is crucial to understand what this concept really means. This is the love that person gives and does not expect something back. A person does not think about his or her interests or desires, every action is done for the object of love. He or Her is ready to give up his well-being and fulfill any whims of the object of adoration. Actually, this love in most cases denies equality in a relationship, because the lover deliberately infringes on his interests in favor of the beloved, without demanding anything in return.
To find the answer to this posed question let's analyze three stories in which the influence of this strong and at some point destructive type of love on the subsequent fate of the hero is illuminated from different angles. Thus, conclusions will be made from stories: “Beauty and the Beast”, “The Notebook”.
The first story presents us with two views on this issue, these are the consequences of love between relatives, or rather the selfless love of a mother for her child, and the love of two kindred souls for which even time is not an obstacle. The story itself tells us about a boy who survived despite the circumstances. But thanks to whom? It was originally his own mother who saved him at the cost of her life. Without hesitation, without the slightest doubt, she gave her life in a moment of danger in order to save the life of her son, a part of herself. Yes, on the one hand, it becomes clear that one of the reasons for such self-sacrifice is that he is her child, her blood flows in him and she seems to keep herself alive. And yet you need to have incredible courage and strength to value someone else's life above your own, and disinterestedly, without expecting anything in return. Thus, in the given circumstances, the only obvious effect of love and such devotion is death given to continue the life of a loved one. The second story also reveals the answer to the question in two variations. The first is, in contrast to the previous situation, the child's love for the parent, and the second is the romantic love of seemingly incompatible and unsuitable characters. The story tells us about a girl whose father was captured by a monster and to save him she remains to live in a castle with a monster and gradually they fall in love with each other. The first storyline becomes a vivid example of sacrificial love that shows us the love of a daughter for a father. After the disappearance of Maurice, the Beauty, without a moment's hesitation, rushes to find him, despite the danger, complexity of the road, and the weather conditions. Already at this stage, sacrificing her safety, she devotes all herself to the salvation of a loved one. Finding him in captivity in the monster's castle without asking his opinion and permission, she offers the monster to change her with her father. She does not pay attention to the cost at which she rescues her dad, to consequences this may have for herself, her whole life is now laid on his release. Devoted to adventure in reality, she does not hesitate to choose life in a cage for the freedom of her father. This situation depicts to us Beauty's care, her incredible devotion, and respect for relatives. To the person who endowed her with life, which means it is her duty to sacrifice her for him. Thus, despite the fact of the further development of events, the Beauty at that particular moment exposes herself to life imprisonment in a terrifying Beast`s castle for the fate of a loved one. This story shows us the destructive influence of sacrificial love when a person`s own life is devalued, the hero subjects him or herself to eternal torment for the benefit of another character. The second example of such a relationship is embodied in the love of the Beast for Beauty. Initially, he risks his life to save Beauty from a pack of wolves. Then, when he is so close to winning her heart, that would save him from the curse, he lets her go to search for her father because he puts her feelings above his own. Thus, his love for her is stronger than his love for himself. In the continuation of the story, unlike all previous examples, their life is still illuminated with happiness. That is why this version of the development of sacrificial love actually leads to rewarding and pleasant sensations, a happy life.
And the last story again shows us love through the years. The Notebook, a love story of growing up and the relationship of Noah and Ellie that sweeps through the years and ends with death in one day such pitied by all lovers. Despite the seemingly happy ending, the story itself unfolds with rather sad events for the main heroes. Initially, Noah gives all of himself to conquer Ellie. Then it's time for a wonderful life together, which is destined to end due to the difference in social status. Although the young people come to parting mutually, Noah decides to leave Ellie even before that, knowing that a relationship with him will break her aristocratic life. He sacrifices his happiness for her future. However, after a large amount of time, Ellie abandons her fiancé, refusing all the benefits that the future promises to her, choosing a simple guy Noah, who, however, means her whole life for her. At this stage, her sacrificial love is manifested. She makes a choice in the name of love, refusing wealth, security, and parental approval. Roy's selfless love, in turn, shows itself at the moment when the girl is diagnosed with Alzheimer and by some stage, she forgets absolutely her entire previous life and the people who were present in it. A man gives all his free time to read his beloved story of their life, starting from the beginning every day. Despite the fact that most of the time she rejects him, mistaking for a stranger, he still sacrifices his entire remaining life in order to be with her. Ultimately, in the last minutes of her life, Ellie remembers Roy and they fall asleep together for the last time. This story shows us an exceptionally new manifestation of sacrificial love when not one of the lovers is under its influence, but both at once. This story shows us an exceptionally new manifestation of sacrificial love when not one of the lovers is under its influence, but both at once. This situation only complicates the understanding of the course of events and the final outcome. However, bringing, since both heroes are someone less, someone more sacrificed their well-being, free time, their happiness, in general, all their future and present lives, both heroes, in the end, remain happy and satisfied with the very fact living together and after death.
Taking into account all the above information, it is clear that the influence of sacrificial love on the worldview and the whole life of a person can be incredibly diverse, from sad to beautiful. Such an extraordinary influence is
