Race, gender, class and how they affect the mentality
Different people in society have got diverse mentalities based on certain aspects. Some of the aspects that have been termed to be among those that are affecting our mentality include race, ethnicity, class and gender all of which determines what we will handle and what we will leave. These aspects are said to have been determining an individual's abilities and inabilities. Having a fixed mindset is termed to be one of the disasters that can happen in one's life. People believe that they were naturally gifted in handling some things but utterly not capable of handling others. Those with a growth mindset, on the other hand, believe that they can be able to handle anything depending on the efforts that they make in performing them.
The class has been mentioned as one of the aspects that determine the way of thinking of people in society. People from the highest social class believe that there are some things that they can do in the society that those from the middle and low class are not able to handle. This is, however, not true because whatever determines the limits that one can reach are the efforts made and the objectives set towards achieving something a bit higher.
