Beneatha
Beneatha is among the dynamic characters in "A Raisin in the Sun" as she changes from being an independent woman, who does not want to marry and becomes too dependent because she did not want to leave America. Beneatha provides an independent perspective as an attractive, young feminist student in college who demonstrates a great ambition as she strives to become a doctor (Hansberry, 12). In the entire play, Beneatha keeps searching for her identity by dating both George Murchison and Joseph Asagai. The drastic change also emerges with her two boyfriends.
