Historical events since the 1500s to current time in Versailles, France.
The future Louis XIII called the Young Dauphin came to Versailles for his first hunting in 1607. Dauphin was crowned king in 1610. In late 1623, the king chose to build a small hunting lodge where he could stay and use. He used it in 1624.
In 1630 is where there was a major event called the Day of the Dupes that was marked in the history of French because of the architectural styles became royal residences of leisure. Louisa XIII rebuilt it in 1631. The construction continued until 1634, and that is how the palace began. The king bought part of the fiefdom of Versailles in 1632.
In 1637, the king ended the relationship he had with a mistress called Mlle de La Fayette.
The future Louisa XIV came to Versailles in 1641 ever since he was sent with his brother away because of smallpox that had invaded the palace.
The future Louisa XIV came back to Versailles in 1651 whereby he came with his captain and was welcomed for dinner by the captain of the palace.
The young king became fond of the palace that is in 1661, the same year there was the death of his first minister, and he made some works on the palace to grow.
