Comparison between Computer Assisting Coding and Alone Coder
Due to the expanding and extremely dynamic user requirements, application development has developed in strength and methodologies. Today's developers must choose from several different development methods. The goals of these procedures appear to be the same, and the end effect looks to be the same. Today's two most frequent approaches, Computer-Assisted Coding and Alone Coding, both produce robust systems. Nonetheless, as explained in the following paragraphs, there appear to be some differences and parallels between the two.
Computer Assisted Coding is highly fast, while Alone Coding takes a long time. Computer Assisted Coding (CAC) employs a simple framework to call all functions when various code blocks are used to create a piece of a UI component. On the other hand, Alone coders have to go over each function and write each line of code from scratch. This may be too much for a large software system to handle (Miller). Coding is more lenient during the development phase than CAC, which is more rigid.
Faster updates, fewer errors, improved version control, a less expensive method of development, lower maintenance costs, better risk management, and better acceptance of current trends are all benefits of Computer-Assisted Coding (Miller). However, the Alone Coder's adjustments are quite time-consuming, contain several mistakes, and the general manager is neither optimal nor correct.
Despite the significant differences between the two methods, both require highly trained programmers (Miller). Because all code is written in the developer's mind, they must have a thorough awareness of the application's structure, a comprehensive understanding of the programming language, and information on development standards. To produce high-quality software, both strategy and execution
