The progression of the American courts can be dated back to as early as 1789 with the enactment of the Judiciary ACT. Precisely, the judicial system composes a dual court structure. The supreme court is at the apex followed by courts at states and federal levels. Despite each court having distinct jurisdiction, some cases may be eligible for both federal and state review. The appellate and trial courts exist at both levels but are rich of differences among the states when it comes to their politics, culture, and law, this indicates that there are zero chances that two-state court systems can be totally alike.
