Environmental pollution using harmful chemicals has been a significant concern since the beginning of the revolution and global development. The book 'Silent Spring' brings a focus on the adverse effects of chemicals in the environment. An environmental pollution is an ironic act since human beings and animals depend on the environment, they tend to pollute using pesticides, herbicides, and industrial wastes. Studies indicate that the harmful effects of chemicals on the environment out way their benefits (Carson 13).
