The Use of Mentoring as A Developmental Approach


There various approach that the organizations can use to enhance the development of their employees. One of the ways is the use of coaching, which is used majorly across the globe. Mainly, it is used for polishing and making the skills more advanced and better to be used in a work area setting. The other second approach is the use of mentoring as a developmental approach. The senior staff in an organization mentors the young and newly added members by giving guidance and enhancing their future development skills.
Various learning activities can be used effectively to promote knowledge sharing in a work area setting. One of the ways is by grouping the learning transfer activities. In this section, the learning activities prepare the employee to engage in training. It also means that learning activities are grouped according to their needs. The second approach is by choosing the learning activities according to their effect on the employee. It is after the employee has bee trained and evaluated. The employee is likely to be grouped and assigned an activity according to their performance and if it impacts the employee.
