1 The SWOT analysis for my community
The first strength that is evident in my community is the availability of not only reputable but also public schools. Second, my community is near the largest business district. These two strengths have elevated literacy and economic levels in my neighborhood. However, a couple of weaknesses are predominant in my community. For instance, high environmental pollution that results from steel production, metal recycling, construction companies, and oil refineries within the city. Another weakness is the unequal distribution of income in my community. This aspect has contributed to a majority of people in my district to live in poverty. Similarly, various opportunities occur in my community. In particular, the mentioned weaknesses pave the way for other industries. For example, investors can take advantage of a high level of poverty to acquire cheap labor. Also, venture capitalists can start businesses that primary focus on reducing environmental pollution. Lastly, the high rate of school dropout and crime are threats to my community. These two facets are threats since they limit business operation in the area.
