Josephine Nyangaresi Gender Studies May 21, 2013 5 Leadership Essentials for Women 5 leadership essentials for women is one of the most inspiring and motivational books compiled by Linda Clark who has been involved in directing women ministries related activities.   The book gives guidance to the Christian women to help them through developing basic skills for moving plans forward, leading their fellow women as well as changing the world for Christ’s sake. In the second chapter of the book, Clark puts it clearly how important it is for a woman to define herself by looking at the inward so as not to be lost in the conflicting role demands she takes and to help her be in the position of helping others discover their own character. She explains by saying that a woman holding a leadership position in the church should understand of who she really is in the eyes of Christ by basically creating a profile of herself, identifying her likes and dislikes as well as discovering how well she relates with others, (84). Concerning time management, Clark tries to inform on discovering one’s self before controlli...
