Analysis of Wrangell St. Elias National Park
The existing relationship between Alaska’s Wrangell St. Alias National Park, the National Park Service, and the Department of Interior contributes to essential supervision of the park’s environment and maintaining the ecosystem.
Wrangell St. Elias National Park attracted my interests because it has various archaeological, biological, and ecological features that are unique. The park was designed on December 2nd, 1980, and was extended into Canada's border, making it the largest in the US. It is characterized by glacier after glacier and peaks that present historic mining sites and a living geology in Alaska. Four main mountain ranges meet in the park. The four also have 16 of the highest mountains’ peaks in America (Home.Nps.Gov). From the peaks and ridges, tourists can view the beauty of the sky, and the park's beauty changes their watch mode from minute to minute, making the park very attractive.
Wrangell St. Alias National Park patrols and protect the park by providing continued opportunities to visitors and locals that ensure environmental protection. The park protects wildlife while planning the use its land by the public. For instance, the park allows locals to do subsistence hunting in the park (Higgins 51). The National Park Service, an agency within the Department of Interior, administers all systems in the park for Americans. The relationship between the three bodies ensures that the park meets the strategies that provide harmony ground for scientific inventions, human-animal conflict reduction, and achieving both inter and intragenerational equity for the utilization of the park’s resources.
