How Has The Scope Of Cultural Geography Transformed With Time?
Cultural geography examines literary values, practices, excursive, and perceptible. However, it explores the interpretation and artifacts of society, intellectual diversity, and a variety of social. Cultural geography seeks to clarify how perceptions get disseminated over space, how areas and identities get formed, and how the community makes sense of locations (Head and Lesley 76). Cultural geography also builds belief of place, how society provides, converse information, and meaning. This paper seeks to discuss how cultural geography has transformed over time.
Cultural geography sought to evaluate and distinguish diverse cultures around the globe and their correlation to standard settings in the late 19th century. New cultural geography was adopted, protracted, and developed in North American geography in the previous 20th century. According to Saul, Hayley, and Waterton, the adoption of cultural geography was over the Berkeley Schools and Carl Sauer (30). Although the type of cultural geography is still in process, it was challenged in the 1980s by the new belief that formed unique cultural geography.
