Video games remain a part of the industry that is continually changing. It is anticipated that all facets, from visual graphics to the game's layout, will constantly advance. In contrast to a game produced three decades ago, a current match depicts women in a far more positive light. For instance, since the earliest times, female video-games characters have been portrayed in two ways: either as rewards to be earned or as sexual objectification figures who offer players aesthetic pleasure. Past study has shown that women have been misrepresented and sexually objectified in video games over the decades. However, in the past few years, women have now been presented in a greater variety of dominating positions compared to the past. To make the matter worse, however, the strongest and most competent female characters in dominating roles are still regarded as sexual objects. This creates a situation in which males are indeed the active protagonists navigating such video game universes. At the same time, women are merely passive targets and lure meant to stimulate and delight the player. This forces the player to view the world from the perspective of such a heterosexual person.
