11. Write an equation of a line in point-slope form with a slope of  QUOTE   and passing through the point (1, -5).
Calculations:
y- -5/ x-1= -3/4
y+5/ x-1=-3/4
4(y+5)=-3 (x-1)
y+5= (-3x +3)/4
y=-3x/4+ ¾-20/4
y=-3x/4 -17/4
y-y1=m (x-x1)
12. Write an equation of a line in standard form with a slope of  QUOTE   and passing through the point (-10, 2).
Calculations:
y-2/ (x- -10)=-8
y=-8(x+10)
y= -8x-80+2 hence y=-8x-78
13. Write an equation of a line passing through the points (-2, -1) and (0, 4). Write the final answer in slope-intercept form.
Calculations:
Slope= (4—1)/ (0—2)=5/2=2.5
Y=2.5x+c
To get c, then 4= 2.5(0) +c hence
C=4
14. Write an equation of a line passing through the points (-3, 6) and (-5, 3). Write the final answer in slope-intercept form.
Calculations:
M=(6-3)/- (-3- -5)= 3/2
C=6-(3/2*-3)=21/2=10.5
Graph the following equations and inequalities on a coordinate plane, shading the solution set where necessary.
